Bullies. Sock Puppets. Mormons Without Neckties.

Bullies
In playground politics, it is usually good sense to stay away from trouble makers. Schools have rules and playgrounds have monitors, and recesses usually are refreshing. When does a craft or hobby become a business? When is a young entrepreneur recognized as such? Family members can laugh at that first prototype, but in time, good work is recognized as such.

Sock Puppets
The doorbell rang. “Hello! I am campaigning on behalf of Barry Buchanan. May I give you a flyer explaining his concerns? And, here is a suggested voter list on behalf of Whatcom Wins.” Dan Robbins stood in the door and smiled.

Mormons Without Neckties
An advertisement placed by TerraStrategies appeared on Bellingham Craig’s List September 26, 2013, updated October 7, 2013, soliciting canvassing street walkers to promote “progressive candidates” in this years County Council Elections. Terra Strategies is a heavy hitter strategic grass roots mobilizing agency headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. They service progressive, Democrat politicos.
